Welcome to Newton Elementary School!

My name is Kimberly Chapman. I joined Tiger Nation in 2010, and I  became the Assistant Principal of Newton Elementary School in 2022.  Prior to administration, I served as a teacher at Newton Elementary School for 14 years.  My passion has always been elementary education, and I have a deep love for lifelong learning.  At NES, we stand proudly by our theme for the 2023-2024 school year "Watch Us Grow."  Together with the community, we are committed to educational excellence that inspires success in our scholars.  My ultimate goal is to provide our scholars, their families, and the community with positive learning experiences in a structured, nurturing environment.
